Murder of University of Idaho Students

If the pathologist was able to determine that the same weapon was used on all four victims, then that strongly suggests there was one perpetrator. From what I know, it seems law enforcement thinks a single weapon was used.

The surrounding area, particularly at night, would provide cover for a person approaching on foot. Could the perpetrator live close by? Law enforcement has indicated that there was no sign of a forced entry. It would seem then that the perpetrator gained entry through an unlocked entryway.

According to a recent report in The Guardian, “Police hunting who is behind the shocking killings of four University of Idaho students have now received hundreds of digital media submissions via an FBI internet link as they continue to seek clues for the unsolved crime.”
